Can you Blog? Yes, You Can!

The 21st century is really becoming the Age of Possibilities. With technology's race to invent the newest gadgets and gizmos, it seems that some of us old timers (kidding) need a little mini lesson on how exactly to use these mechanisms. It's either sink or swim these days, and if future educators are going to progress along with their students, we need to stay informed on the latest teaching methods.



Blogging seems to be the newest little fad that students and teachers are playing with. Teachers can assign their students curriculum and students can read other peer's journal writings and critique their work, and most of all....they CAN learn!



So to all of the future teachers out there wanting to blog and don't know how, here are a few steps that might help:

1. Go to Google.com

2. To the upper left hand corner of the screen, click on the more button

3.On the pull down tab, scroll down to the bottom and click on "even more"

4. You'll see an orange icon bith a "B" on it, click on the blogger icon

5. Follow the directions that the website needs for you to write a blog, these include:

(create an account, name your blog, and choose a template)

6. Blog til you can't blog anymore...



One more thing! After you've been blogging a while and you find some videos from Teachertube that you would like to share with others on your blog, here are just a few steps you can follow to embed your video:
1.Find the video that you want to embed in your blog
2.To the bottom right of the video is a list of codes (it should say embed video right above it)
3. Right click onto the code, this should highlight the entire code and save the code
4.Go to your blog and click edit and then hit the Edit Html tab.
5.Paste the code in your blog and
